Below are a series of sailing T-shirts, mostly from the Dauphin Island Races. Recognize any of these?

"All of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea -- whether it is to sail or to watch it -- we are going back from whence we came."John F. Kennedy, Speech given at Newport at the dinner before the America's Cup Races, September 1962
-- John Masefield 1878-1967
I don't know how it got there. It must have been that I was just born with salt in my veins and never knew that it was there until, over time, I noticed that everything that I thought, that I loved, that I drempt of, and of the places that I chose to spend my time, all had a distinct and undeniable taste of salt in them.
